Dear boys,
I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend. We have sent a post very similar to this to all parents on their Aladdin app, here is your version of it!
Please remember the work we're giving you is advisory. It's what we would recommend. Some days/weeks you'll find it easier or harder to concentrate than others and that is okay. Just do your best. Don't ignore one subject all week though if you're finding it too much perhaps do less Maths one day, less Irish another etc.
We have asked that one piece of English and Irish work is emailed to us at some stage this week. This is NOT compulsory but we hope to get lots in. I'm going to assume you're happy for your pictures to be put on the blog here unless you tell me otherwise,if that's okay.
Please note that due to GDPR & digital age of consent we cannot reply to emails sent in from a pupil’s personal email address, therefore we’re asking that only parental email accounts be used.
Lads, we were all really disappointed to hear the news on Friday that we would not be returning to school before the summer holidays. It was not what I was expecting or hoping for. However rest assured preparations and planning have already begun for an online graduation ceremony for the 6th class boys in June. Exact date, time and details to follow, but we will endeavour to mark this milestone in your life as best we can, in the current situation. We will be in contact with you about it. You're a great bunch of lads, remember that.
Ár ndícheall i gcónaí – our best always
Ms. Mullen
